A roughly 20-hectare boutique family vineyard in Yiğitler village on Avşa, a small island in the Sea of Marmara. Founded in 2003 by Alp Törüner, Büyülübağ is widely cited as Turkey's first gravity-flow winery.
The vineyard sits on the inland slopes of Avşa Island, where sea breezes off the Marmara temper hot summer days. The island's volcanic and granitic soils are well suited to viticulture.
Plantings include the indigenous Adakarası (granted EU GI status in May 2025) alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Merlot and Chardonnay.
Visits, tours and tastings are by appointment. Avşa is reached by ferry from Istanbul or Tekirdağ.
