Datça Şarapçılık
Datça, Muğla – Mediterranean
Experiences
Tasting Tours Indigenous grapes
A family vineyard and winery in Kızlan village on the Datça Peninsula, founded in 2010 where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean. The roughly 40-hectare estate is organised around a stone building that echoes the peninsula's famous windmills.
Two-sea breezes, abundant sunlight and naturally balanced soils give the peninsula a distinct microclimate suited to both indigenous and international varieties. The estate follows low-intervention viticulture with an emphasis on soil health and biodiversity.
Plantings include the indigenous Anatolian reds Öküzgözü and Boğazkere alongside Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Harvest is hand-picked into small crates.
The tasting room and cellar sit inside a reproduction of the peninsula's traditional windmills, with vineyard walks and seated tastings by appointment.
