Evenez Şarap Evi
Aktepe, Avanos (Nevşehir)
Tasting Indigenous grapes
A boutique winery in Aktepe village, Avanos, founded by chemistry engineer Ahmet Sarıkaya. Wine production began in 2002 and the factory officially opened in 2005, growing from 4,000 to 40,000 litres of capacity.
The estate works with grapes from Cappadocia's volcanic-tuff landscape — a high continental terroir under the influence of nearby Mount Erciyes.
The range includes the indigenous Cappadocian Emir alongside the Anatolian reds Kalecik Karası, Öküzgözü and Dimrit, plus two house cuvée blends. All grapes are sourced from Cappadocia.
The producer makes six wines, fermented in stainless tanks under EU-standard process control. Tastings can be arranged at the winery in Avanos.
