Tasting Culinary Tours
A boutique winery in Kuşçular village, about 8 km southwest of central Urla. The project was started in 2018 by third- generation Urla local Ceylan Ertörer Diaz Leon and her Chilean-born partner Juan Pablo Diaz Leon; the production building was completed in early 2020 with a first vintage of around 13,000 litres.
The estate sits on the Urla peninsula's inland hills above the Aegean. The Mediterranean climate and limestone soils suit warm-climate Mediterranean varieties.
HUS is built around two southern Mediterranean reds — Carignan and Alicante Bouschet — vinified under the guidance of a Spanish enologist. Grapes are sourced from different Anatolian regions.
Above the cellar, a tasting room, restaurant and panoramic vineyard terrace serve seasonal local cuisine paired with the estate's wines. Reservations are recommended.
