Tasting
A boutique vineyard and winery built from scratch in 2006 in Kuşçular village, Urla. Wines are bottled under the **Mahrem** label with annual production of around 50,000 bottles.
The estate sits on the inland hills of the Urla peninsula, open to the Aegean breeze. Vines are farmed organically with minimal intervention.
The vineyard works with an unusually deep set of varieties: Syrah, Sangiovese, Corinto, Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, Tannat and Marselan, alongside the Cabernet Sauvignon × Tannat hybrid Ekigaïna and the Merlot × Teroldego hybrid Rebo.
Mahrem Sangiovese (around 20,000 bottles/year) and Mahrem Syrah (around 6,000 bottles/year) are the flagships, with further small-lot varietal bottlings.
The cellar is open daily 12:00–18:00 for tastings and bottle purchases.
