Tasting Tours Indigenous grapes
A boutique family vineyard and winery in Kavacık village (Karabağlar/İzmir), founded in 2004 on 20 hectares of land that the family bought for its mountain setting. Farming is certified organic.
Kavacık sits half an hour from central İzmir on the warm Aegean inland hills. The estate works under organic farming principles with minimal intervention.
The estate is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Öküzgözü, Alphonse Lavallée, Chardonnay and Narince. Reds are aged at least two years in French oak before further bottle ageing — 18 months minimum — prior to release.
Visits and tastings can be arranged at the cellar by reservation.
