A family-run hillside estate in Kobaşlar (Gömeç, Balıkesir), set on terraced slopes facing the Madra mountain range. The vineyard was planted in 2005 by Fikret Özdemir after a career in architecture in İzmir; the first harvest came in 2012. His daughter leads winemaking and his son-in-law runs the tasting room and restaurant.

The vineyard lies just inland from the Aegean coast, where hot summer days are tempered by sea breezes funnelling up the steep hills. Ma'adra is one of the few terraced vineyards in Turkey; the south-facing terraces catch strong sunlight and cooling winds in equal measure.

Red varieties planted include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir and Öküzgözü; whites include Chardonnay and Bornova Misketi. The estate follows a low-yield, quality-first approach to viticulture.

Visits, tastings and dinners are by reservation only.

The on-site restaurant pairs the estate's wines with pizza, cheese and charcuterie boards, pasta and seasonal dishes, overlooking the vineyards. The kitchen opens in the evenings and reservations are required.
