Tasting Indigenous grapes

A family producer on the northern edge of Cappadocia in Karaburna village, Hacıbektaş — run by Nazmiye Turgut. The estate bottles wines from Anatolian grapes under the Aryatus and Laurasia labels, with a tasting outlet in Avanos (Aryatus Şarap Evi).

Karaburna is one of Hacıbektaş's most viticulturally suited villages. Cappadocia's volcanic tuff soils and continental climate shape the freshness and aromatic profile of the grapes.

The range is built around indigenous Cappadocian Emir together with the Anatolian reds Kalecik Karası and Öküzgözü — part of the long "Hacıbektaş wine" tradition of this corner of central Anatolia.

Wines can be tasted and bought at the Aryatus Şarap Evi outlet in Avanos.
