Tasting Indigenous grapes
A boutique winery on the İzmir-Çeşme road in Zeytinler village (Urla), founded in 2019. Wines have been recognised at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2022.
The estate sits on the inland hills of the Urla peninsula, open to a Mediterranean climate and the Aegean breeze.
Plantings include the indigenous Bornova Misketi alongside the indigenous red Boğazkere and a wide international set — Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot.
The flagship Pyrgi is a premium blend; the range also includes varietal bottlings.
